Learning how to deal with stress in healthy ways and gaining a sense of control in life is achieved with something called cognitive behavioral training

Stress is a part of life. In small doses it can be a good thing. But when it's affecting relationships and work and when you feel like you can never really relax - that's when stress is a problem. Too much stress takes a heavy toll on physical, mental and emotional health. While it may seem like outside forces are generating stress, the truth is that it is our habitual responses to certain situations and relationships that are the real cause. In other words, you are responsible for your high stress levels.

Over the course of time, you have developed certain false beliefs and negative thought patterns about situations that cause you stress. This has led to an emotional reaction, a sense of anxiety and a feeling of powerlessness. You practiced this process - probably without knowing it - over and over again, until it became a habit. You trained your brain to automatically handle stress in ways that make matters worse. While you want to feel a sense of calm and control, your brain is stuck responding to stress in the same old ways. When you change the brain's habitual responses, you change the way stress affects your life.

How it Works

    You will rewire your brain to work for you rather than against you. As a result, stressors that once felt threatening will now be opportunities for personal growth and greater well-being.

The simple format is a lot like other online classes you may have taken, with one important distinction: Cognitive training is about more than just gaining knowledge or a skill. Cognitive training is about creating new, healthy behaviors - in this case, proactive and powerful responses to stress.

What to Expect

LivingEasy is made up of 8 sessions. They are video-based and they are split into short segments. The whole thing is self-explanatory, so just go with the flow. There are some quizzes to keep you honest and some assignments that will put the process of living easy into motion. This is a lot like any online class, except you can expect to do more than merely learn something - you can expect to train your brain to see and manage stress from a place of power, peace and optimism.
